Always Excels. Came here once before for an anniversary dinner and then last evening for a graduation dinner with a large group. Had high expectations since my last visit was perfect, and Fiorentino's did not fail to impress. The stuffed Gnocci was a favorite for our table along with the crab cakes. Fiorentino's is THE best Italian restaurant in the City. I can't believe it has taken me so long to hear/know about it. The food is delicious and extremely fresh. The ambiance is amazing. The outdoor patio, even in the winter, is very quaint and wonderful and makes you feel like you are in Italy. The service has been tremendous each time I've been there. Saturday I was there with friends and my sister. We stayed quite long after eating & the waiter kept making sure we were ok, but did not encourage us to leave or make any indication that we had to leave. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this neighborhood gem. Frances and Steven and their whole staff make you feel so welcome and they are true Italians who love and make good food.
